Found across North America, the pine snake is a carnivore which means they eat meat. In the wild they would eat live rats, rabbits, prairie dogs and birds. In captivity we feed them dead mice, rats and quail.
- Live up to 12 years.
- Egg layers they lay around 6-10 eggs.
- Adults grow to around 6 feet.
- Habitat being sandy grasslands.
- Crepuscular reptile.
